Barneys Farm was originally created in 1986 in Amsterdam,  In 2003 Barney's Farm USA launched and planted its flag in the U.S. market. Already creating strategic collaborations with genetics breeders like Doja Pak Exclusive and Backpack Boyz, signaling a bold new chapter.

Check out our new collaborations with the Backpack Boyz, including Lemon Cherry Gelato, Black Cherry Gushers and Bubblegum Gelato also with Doja Pak, including RS11 X Bana OG and Cookie Casket.

These partnerships, along with state-of-the-art distribution hubs in Illinois and, in the fall of 2025, distribution centers in California and New York, are planned. 

We have also negotiated exclusive collaborations with elite cannabis seed producers to produce our genetics locally. This approach has enabled us to integrate our historic catalogue, along side our strategic initiative to introduce exciting genetic crosses with US classics, plus develop innovative strains with the finest US breeders.

During this time, he worked alongside local farmers who had spent centuries carefully crossing and developing these genetic lines, preserving the finest strains from across Asia.

Driven by a vision to revolutionize cannabis breeding in the West, Derry planned to return to Amsterdam with his vast collection of unique genetics. His goal was to establish a breeding program that would combine these ancient Asian varieties with the finest strains Europe had to offer. 

History would prove this venture successful, as Derry went on to create world-class genetics while preserving these age-old varieties. These original landraces remain the foundation of his breeding stock today, contributing to the development of numerous champion phenotypes over the years.
